International Kalotaszeg Folk Music and Dance Camp

The camp is organized every year in the first week of August, this year we celebrate the 33 rd.edition.  It attracts young people from Europe, Canada, the United States and other countries of the world, all anxious to learn this zone’s world famous music and dances. The quality of courses is provided by renowned local and foreign instructors. Participants are selected into two groups: beginner and advanced.

The program includes folk dance and song classes, as well as traditional instruments classes: violin, 3 string viola and bass. There’s also an excursion by bus to lake Beliş, a young mans’ dance (legényes) contest and a folk song contest. The camp ends with an outdoor closing ceremony on Saturday night.
