Püspök guesthouse was built in 1948 and until recently worked as a barn for housing farm animals and storing hay. After reconstruction and modernization of the inside, transforming it in a guesthose, the outside kept its original style and form. On the middle of the ground floor, there is a high and spacious room, decorated with various antiques, serving as a dining room for up to 50 people. This is extended with a brand new dining room, decorated in traditional style, suggesting an athmosphere of the early 20th century. It has a capacity of 80 persons.

The guesthouse has three wings, each of them with separate entrance.

A) Left wing:

Room no. 1: – 2 single beds, private bathroom – traditional, painted furniture
Room no. 2: – 2 single beds, private bathroom – traditional, painted furniture

Room no. 3: – 2 single beds
Room no. 4: – 2 single beds

 

Room no. 3 and 4 are in the attic and share a bathroom.

 

B) Right wing:

Room no. 5: – 4 single beds, private bathroom
Room no. 6: – 4 single beds, private bathroom

C) Rear wing:

Room no. 7: – 1 double bed, 
1 single bed, private bathroom
Room no. 8: – 1 double bed,
1 single bed, private bathroom
Room no. 9: – two communicating rooms. In the outer room there are 2 single beds, in the inner room there is 1 double bed, 1 single bed and also the bathroom.

Total capacity is 27 persons.

The building complex contains an old, shingled peasants’ house from 1850, functioning as a museum, with “clean room”, wood-carving workshop and also a hemp processing workshop. The another building is a covered open terrace, with a traditional oven for baking bread and the famous Hungarian pastry, “kürtőskalács”.
